Telare

We remember the most distant memories and details of where we grew up, even the mood and the original city. Télàré, which is a word in Boushehri dialect meaning ‘to carry’ or to ‘take with oneself’. It refers to my hometown; a coastal city where my first cognitive experiences were formed and the link between each experience with the ‘place’ has been fixed in my head. Time goes by and the face of the city changes. Idmages remain intact, but I still seek that old appearance upon each visit.
